The Buffalo River Waffle Pad is a resilient shock pad designed for sprung flooring systems where contractors need a resilient layer beneath a sleeper, subfloor, or panel assembly. The molded waffle face flexes under load to help deliver uniform deflection, shock attenuation, and energy return across dance, theater, and sport floor installations and comes in 3/8 and 3/4″ thickness.

This pad is intended for flooring contractors building resilient floor systems in dance studios, performance spaces, multipurpose rooms, and athletic facilities. It can be used as part of a specified sprung floor design where pad spacing, durometer, and layout are selected to match the desired floor response.

Each 4 in x 4 in Mini Waffle Pad set is designed to separate into four 2 in x 2 in pads. This makes layout flexible and allows contractors to place individual modules on the required grid without unnecessary field cutting.

Buffalo River Plastics molds the Mini Waffle Pad in the USA from a high-performing synthetic rubber compound formulated for improved compression set resistance compared with natural rubber. The pad is available in multiple durometer options so the floor system can be tuned to project requirements.
