This is a fully assembled tank unit. It utilizes the same high-end engineering found in our complete EZ-450 units, specifically the external valve rod system. By keeping the mechanical movement outside the finish reservoir, the EZ-500 prevents the “frozen valve” issues caused by floor finishes drying inside the rod channel. Whether you are mounting this to a custom handle or integrating it into a specialized T-bar setup, the EZ-500 delivers precise flow control and professional durability.

- 304 Stainless Steel Reliability- Every metal component, including the valves, control rods, and mounting bolts, is made from 304 stainless steel. This ensures compatibility with both caustic oil-based solvents and water-borne finishes without the risk of rust or chemical degradation.
- External Control Valve Rods – The two stainless steel control rods are mounted externally. This design ensures that the finish never enters the mechanical housing of the rod, preventing the valve from sticking or seizing when using finishes with 40% to 50% solids.
- Dual Independent Flow Control – The assembly features two independent 1/2″ stainless steel valves with PTFE (Teflon) rings and seals. This allows for granular control over the finish flow rate, enabling you to adjust for different wood porosities or application speeds.
- Vented Wide-Mouth Tank – The 2.5-gallon tank is designed for rapid filling and easy cleaning. The included vented cap ensures consistent atmospheric pressure inside the tank, preventing “glugging” and ensuring a smooth, unbroken gravity feed to your applicator head.
