Virginia Abrasives Maroon Floor Conditioning Pads – Thin are 1/4″ aluminum oxide surface prep pads used for between-coat preparation on hardwood gym floors, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and other finished wood sport surfaces.

These maroon pads abrade and condition the existing finish so a new coat can bond properly without using chemical stripper. Choose from round buffer sizes or rectangular orbital/square buffer sizes to match your floor machine.

Open mesh sanding screens embedded with silicon carbide grain on both faces, built for rotary floor buffers and orbital sanders. The open weave lets dust pass through instead of packing the abrasive, so the screen keeps cutting instead of loading up and glazing over, a common failure point with paper discs on between-coat work.
